Service Description

'This class with Fabio has been profound and transformative for my acting, as well as everyday life. I love this practice!' -Verity Wood (actor and Workshop Participant). Stimulate your capacity for breath, and revitalise your voice! A 2-Day Workshop with Fitzmaurice Voicework® Associate teachers, Julia Moody and Fabio Motta. Join them and explore greater freedom, expression and awareness of your voice. Learn a unique and holistic vocal approach in this introduction to Fitzmaurice Voicework® for singers, actors and everyday speakers. What is Fitzmaurice Voicework®? There are two main components to this work: Destructuring and Restructuring. Destructuring; is a series of physical positions that encourage the release of habitual tension held in the body. The breath can then discover a more authentic and spontaneous vocal expression. Restructuring; the spontaneous and sometimes chaotic expression is then channelled into a healthy voice, free from tension, flexible, focused and emotionally connected. Visit for further information on the process. Actors are asked to bring a piece of text that wish to explore throughout the workshop. This can be a poem, song or a contemporary/classical monologue. This practical workshop is limited to 12 participants ensuring thorough support from both experienced teachers. Places fill quickly, so don’t miss out. Early Bird places are available.
