MASTERCLASS SERIES: MASK WORK FOR ACTORS – THE ACTOR TRANSFORMATION INTENSIVE With Dr. Budi Miller and Fabio Motta Neutral Mask • Budi Miller Taksu Training (with Balinese Mask) • Fitzmaurice Voicework® • Commedia dell’Arte November 4th – November 28th Melbourne Actors Guild A Rare 4-Week Professional Training Intensive for Professional Actors If you feel stuck in habitual performance patterns, overthinking text, or wanting greater range and freedom as an actor - this intensive is designed for you. Over four immersive weeks, actors will train through some of the world’s most powerful performance methodologies: Neutral Mask, Budi Miller Taksu Training (BMTT), Fitzmaurice Voicework®, and Commedia dell’Arte. It is a transformational training process designed to expand your presence, physical freedom, vocal power, imagination, spontaneity, and character range. Beginning in silence through Neutral Mask, moving into energetic embodiment and breath-driven creativity through BMTT and Fitzmaurice voicework®, and culminating in the bold theatrical play of Commedia dell’Arte, this course offers actors practical tools that immediately strengthen performance for stage, screen, and devised work. Training Breakdown Week 1 – Neutral Mask 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th November The moment you step on stage says everything. Learn to command the stage without word. Train stillness, presence, simplicity, and truthful physical expression. Neutral Mask develops the actor’s body as a clear and responsive instrument. Weeks 2 & 3 – Budi Miller Taksu Training (BMTT) + Fitzmaurice Voicework® 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 17th, 18th, 20th Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday 10am - 5pm Unlock dynamic energy, rhythm, breath, imagination, and transformational performance states through Budi Miller’s acclaimed BMTT methodology integrated with voice training. Week 4 – Commedia dell’Arte 21st, 23rd, 27th, 28th Monday and Friday: 6:30pm-9:30pm, Saturdays: 10am - 5pm Stand out with sharper physical choices, comic timing, impulses and great improvisations coming from the characters state. Learning Commedia is the key to playful and bold performance. Explore archetype, status, comic timing, half-mask play, physical storytelling, and improvisation through one of theatre’s most exhilarating traditions. Schedule Weekday Evenings: 6:30pm – 9:30pm Weekend Intensives: 10:00am – 5:00pm Please note, we need a minimum of 8 people to run the course. Deposit is non-refundable. Payment plans

REFUND POLICY: Deposit is not refundable. No refund for the full course fee less than 20 days before the course starts. The course fees are due prior to course commencement. The inability to pay fees by this time may result in your place being given to the next person on the list. No refunds or credits are available from days prior to course commencement, and after the course has commenced. If for any reason you cannot attend the entire course, there is no refund for missed hours or classes. Please organise your schedule so that you do not miss a precious moment of our courses (and let us know in advance if this is the case). We look forward to seeing you very soon!
