This training is ideal for actors, clowns, creatives and performers seeking greater presence, authenticity, and freedom on stage and screen. 🎈 WEEK 1: Finding Complicité Discover the joy of ensemble play, improvisation, text, and clown. Rooted in Philippe Gaulier’s teachings (Le Jeu), this week places the actor at the centre—inviting spontaneity, vulnerability, and deep connection with the audience. 🎭 WEEK 2: Chekhov & Clown Dive deeper into text and complicité with a focus on Chekhov. Through games, scenes, and advanced clown work, you’ll explore intra-cultural methods and develop a richer, freer relationship with character and performance. (Prerequisite: Week 1 or previous Pleasure to Play workshop). 🎭 WEEK 3: Tragedy & Clown Routines Explore the emotional depth of Greek Tragedy and Shakespeare, while building your own structured clown routine.
